Tomco Construction has been building in Georgia and Alabama since 1997. The company has grown in size and reach. The standard has not moved.
02 / Origin
Tom Crymes founded Tomco Construction in 1997 with a single superintendent, a phone line and an office in the basement of his home. The first client was Atlanta International School. The standard set on that job still runs the company today.
Nearly three decades later the record reads 500+ completed projects across healthcare, industrial, worship and development work, three AGC Build Georgia awards, a Georgia general contractors license and an Alabama license with an unlimited bid limit.
Through all of it the structure has stayed deliberately small. The people who price your project are the people who build it, and the people who hand over the keys are the ones you met on day one.

Tomco is led by four officers with more than 125 years in the industry between them. They answer the phone, sit in the owner meetings and walk the sites.
01 / Founder & CEO
Tom founded Tomco in 1997 in Newnan, Georgia, with one superintendent and an office in the basement of his home. A Georgia Tech graduate in building construction, he has spent more than 30 years in the industry and leads client relationships, sales and conceptual budgeting. Under his ownership the company has completed more than $900 million in work.

02Hal oversees company operations with more than 30 years in construction. Before joining Tomco he spent over a decade at Batson-Cook Construction, where he led major projects including the Cancer Treatment Center in Newnan, and he now keeps project execution and client satisfaction consistent across the company.

03Jay leads preconstruction, estimating and the healthcare division, with more than 35 years in the industry. A LEED AP certified professional, he keeps budgets honest early and the detail tight through construction, and studied landscape architecture at Clemson.

04Joe manages projects and shapes how Tomco recruits and develops its field team, with more than 30 years in the industry and $900 million of work delivered. His portfolio spans military facilities, student housing, churches, municipal buildings, offices and medical facilities.
